1、木質(zhì)素磺酸鈉主要用于分散、還原染料，還可作為酸性染料的稀釋劑，顏料分散劑.做染料分散劑使用時(shí),根據(jù)所需要加工的原染料強(qiáng)度,確定染料與分散劑的配比,確定分散劑用量后，先加一半的木質(zhì)素磺酸鈉分散劑與染料一起研磨,到達(dá)終點(diǎn)后,再加入另一半分散劑,這樣會(huì)比一次性全部加入分散劑的研磨效果要好；做填充劑使用時(shí)，可在噴干前加入染料中，也可在噴干后，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化時(shí)加入染料中；對(duì)不同類型的染料，同一品種，不同廠家生產(chǎn)的染料，最好先做試驗(yàn)確定合適的分散劑用量.2、作為高效混凝土減水劑，比木質(zhì)素磺酸鈣性能優(yōu)越，適于涵洞、堤壩、水庫、機(jī)場及高速公路等工程. 3、用于鉛酸蓄電池和堿性蓄電池陰極防縮劑，提高電池的低溫急放電容量和使用壽命；用于電鍍電解能使鍍層均勻，無樹狀花紋；毛皮工業(yè)上作為鞣革劑；鍋爐上作為除垢劑；冶金采礦中用于高級(jí)浮選劑.還可用在農(nóng)藥和涂料上。
